This all started reading “the lottery” and finding the aspects of the story they wanted to show in the tv comedy, they made some cultural aspects as the tradition. The main idea {source} is a lottery and the one that wins will be killed by the people of the village for a good harvest ,on the Simpsons there is also a tradition to kill snakes and it is also for a good outcome , both involve death on their traditions and the Simpsons chapter someone changed people’s minds ,this could in fair a theme or lesson in difference of the short story
